Colour Matching

The colour on your monitor or inkjet printer will almost always be different from printed formats, but with care -- something in which we specialise -- very close matches are possible.

Inkjet printers usually print in CMYK so this is the best Bitmap file to send us. We can convert RGB files, but sometimes the results are unpredictable. If you can provide us with a colour print-out, that will help us to achieve a better colour match.

If you require a precise colour match, we recommend that you use a Pantone Process Colour Chart, because it is composed of CMYK colours, and will provide a better representation of the final output colours. Download the free User Guide.

Vector images make it easier for us to match colours, as we can modify the colours of the individual elements to get the best result for you. Of course, if all this is too much -- just call Lifeprints Customer Care and we will go to work for you!
